Thanks for your devotion to keeping Morse Code alive. I've decided to work toward qualifying for a Ham Radio license, but my further goal is to pickup Morse code where I left it with my Boy Scout Merit Badge decades ago. Also, isn't it true that Morse code utilizes CW which transmits much further with less energy than AM or FM radio waves, even bouncing off the Ionosphere carrying it around the earth curvature? And isn't that why its easier to carry CW equipment into remote locations, and utilizing Morse code with just hand crank generators for clandestine operation communications?

I am a Ham, but I never use Morse Code. I prefer voice, but will be the first to admit Morse Code is the best means of communications, and will get through when nothing else will.
It is good to see people keeping Morse Code alive.

I need a brush up on my RECEIVING SPEED. Seems no luck or it gets complicated, even on websites ???
I thought a simple request like this would have been rapidly met ? Gordon Weare.

Hi Esther. Keep an eye out for the APPlicator and soon to be released Komodo from Tecla both switch interfaces for the iPads. Still no access for morse but have sent Andy the links LOL. yes, Mac is at home, set up is always tricky for access - eventually I would prefer the iPhone size or even the smaller 7" size for mounting on chairs etc. Good luck and feel free to ask for info any time.

"P" and "R" are not the same. "P" is "Dit-dah-dah-dit" and "R" is "Dit-dah-dit". If you look close enough, you'll se that "P" are larger than "R" on the list.

It also applies to "O" and "M". "O" is "Dah-dah-dah", "M" is "Dah-dah".

The problem here is the font used... Try to copy and paste this to Notepad, it'll be better (;

I was a high speed operator in the Korean war and loved it, however, I have not practiced or done any morse code since 1952. I would like to refresh my skill now that I'm retired with little to do.Thanks for the help.
